Unique Rules That set Us Apart
Pitching Arch & Pitching Screen
- Our allowed pitching arch is 6 to 12 feet.
- Our pitching screen is custom-built for fairness and safety, measuring 6 feet 4 inches tall and 3 feet 1 inch wide—compact enough not to interfere with play but effective enough to protect pitchers.
Courtesy Foul Rule
We have reinstated the courtesy foul rule to keep at-bats competitive and fair:
- With two strikes, a batter who hits a foul ball receives one additional pitch.
- Exception: If the foul ball hits the pitcher’s net, the batter is out.
This promotes competitive hitting while protecting the pitcher.
Rabbit Runner Rule
To maintain defensive fairness, we use a modified rabbit-runner rule:
- Rabbit runners may only run to first base.
- If they round first or make a turn toward second, they are automatically out, and all other runners return to their previous base.
- This prevents rabbit runners from forcing the defense to alter their throw based on a runner who is not permitted to advance.
- However, if the throw is overthrown at first base, the rabbit runner may advance at their own risk.
Player Check-In & ID System
We use a secure ID barcode check-in system for every tournament weekend. This system ensures:
- Each player is checked in electronically,
- Players compete for only one team per weekend,
- Rosters remain accurate and fair.
